Previous Diploma of Rebirthing and Breathwork Mastery
Course outline ~ Accredited 1998 – 2016

Professional practitioner and facilitator, has been self paced training at the national standard for vocational qualifications within the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF). The international certificiation follows the same curriculum.

The vocational training up for reaccrediation in 2016, has been a flexible delivery, self paced course which meets the nationally recognised training standard for vocational qualifications under the Australian Qualification Framework until 2016. It is not currently on scope, although still accredited. It has been replaced by the International Certification in Breathwork Mastery guided by long term international standards and guidelines.

Compencies are the same in both courses, but the qualification has been issued only for the Diploma within the AQF. Its is an Australian qualification. There is no international body that issues qualifications, however international bodies may set standards or guidelines and then recognise courses, as the breathwork alliance does for the replacement to the Diploma, which has the title International Certification in Breathwork Mastery course outline

Total hours 785

To achieve the 30948QLD Diploma in Rebirthing and Breathwork Mastery, participants previously completed all 10 units, two of which relate to vocational training. These two are not relevant to international standards so the international course is shorter. The competencies around professional health care in Australia are also relevant internationally and are embedded in the international training.
Total nominal hours for Diploma has been 783

This course is due for reaccreditation in 2016
At this time the course has been replaced by the International Certification in Breathwork Mastery as the Diploma may not be reaccredited and is no longer on the scope of any Registered Training Organisation.
The international certification training follows the same course as the Diploma, with less compliance requirements and assessment material, meaning it is 250 hours shorter.

Please fill the contact form if you have questions about the Diploma after 2016. At this time, it has been replaced permanently, but it could be reactivated in late 2016 if you are prepared to pay very high fees for its delivery.

In Course Units 1 to 3 – Pre Professional –  course units
The training first deals with skills required to use RBM techniques for self-clearing own physical, mental, emotional or psycho-spiritual blocks to wellness and intentional living and support others. The completion of the general interest, pre-professional RBM self-clearing training allows the participant to apply breathwork mastery for self use and leads to transferring these skills to the qualifications of a RBM practitioner.

In the pre-professional training, the support role is also to support/assist a practitioner or trainer with their clients/participants, under supervision, as well as support others who have completed, or are participating in the self-clearing training.

Another application of skills is to support others from any area of life who are already in highly activated or irrational states of mind or emotion as indicated by their breathing: that is any person who is not aware or intentional in being activated by a breath technique, yet is undergoing a spontaneous clearing or regression.

After Course Unit 3, the participants apply these skills for personal use as well as being facilitated with breath sessions as they progress in synergising theory and experience towards working with others as a RBM practitioner.

While participants are still in training, they provide support to others during breath sessions or groups that is –

minimum intervention
listening orientated – client centred
agenda free

Because the training is highly experiential, with integrated and simple assessments, participants can start at any unit of the retreat course units which are experiential and theoretical for 38 days.
Alternatively there is an option to undertake the theory by distance or online and start at any of the set date 7day or weekend experiential workshops
Every part of the training enables the participant to apply breath clearing in their life and support others who are activated or in states of anxiety or panic as indicated by their breathing
Units 1 to 3 theory contain these training distinctions.

Course Units 4 to 8 – Professional practitioner
deals with skills required to work with others professionally using RBM techniques
to address blocks to wellness and intentional living on all levels, as facilitator of  breath sessions,
according to Breathwork Mastery principles and practices.

The training extends to leading and facilitating Rebirthing and Breathwork Mastery (RBM) group dynamics and individuals within a group dynamic, to expand the self-awareness of individuals within a group.

Professional practitioner training focus deals with working effectively within a Breathwork Mastery (RBM) framework, according to RBM principles and experience based concepts. It provides the ethical and contextual framework for establishing a professional practice to industry standards, within codes of practice determined by the industry and in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements for personal and professional conduct.

Participants are trained in competencies required to use specific RBM clearing and process skills to provide support to clients/participants in all stages and states of process of personal/spiritual development.

Time frame for the practitioner training?

Most participants complete the face to face and most of the practical unit within eighteen months, although it is possible to complete much sooner. The course is experiential and unusual because the participant becomes a practitioner and facilitator from participating while experiencing the theory aspects first hand.

Where is the training? in Australia

Byron Bay/Gold Coast as retreat course units 1-7 ~ 38 days face to face which includes theory
Byron Bay/Gold Coast and Sydney workshops ~ 21 days face to face and theory by distance
practical training and client contact is external, by arrangement.

For overseas or interstate participants
,
in Byron Bay/Gold Coast there are some units that are scheduled closely together each year as retreat intensives, so participants can take 2 x two or three week visits to attend, and then return just once more, or bring a trainer to your area so you can establish yourself as a known practitioner-to-be of breathwork mastery as you complete your course requirements.

The course needs to be completed within eighteen months from the start.
